Questions about

Fit + direction

The useful first questions: whether we are right for each other and what the project should become.See selected work
01.01

Who is ByteMotive for?

ByteMotive is built for small and medium-sized businesses that need a stronger web presence, a smoother customer journey or useful custom functionality without the drag of a traditional agency process.

The best fit is a decision-maker who values clear thinking, distinctive design and direct access to the person shaping and building the work.

01.02

What can you actually build?

Premium marketing websites, booking platforms, commerce journeys, custom digital products and bounded AI assistants or workflow automation. That can include availability, secure administration, payments, notifications, customer accounts, approved-knowledge assistance, business integrations and reporting when the project needs them.

The aim is not to add technology for effect. We choose the smallest dependable solution that supports the commercial goal and the way the business operates.

01.03

Do you use templates, and can you work with what we already have?

Every experience is shaped around the business rather than a rearranged theme. We can keep strong existing brand, content and platform elements when they earn their place, then replace the parts that are limiting clarity, trust or conversion.

Reusing the right assets can improve speed and continuity. The design still needs to feel coherent, purposeful and recognisably yours.

Questions about

Pace + process

Fast delivery works when decisions, design and development stay close together.See the one-week sprint
02.01

How soon will I see a working preview?

Focused website projects move from conversation to a working preview in 2–3 working days.

It is a responsive experience you can use and react to—not a long document or a static reveal at the end of the process. Early visibility makes feedback more specific and keeps momentum high.

02.02

Can a website really launch in one week?

Focused websites live in 5–7 working days—not months.

The one-week sprint applies when scope, content, access and decision-makers are ready. Booking, commerce, custom integrations and growth campaigns are scoped separately.

That is a focused delivery window, not a promise to squeeze an unclear or high-risk project into seven days. We agree the release scope before the clock starts.

02.03

What if the project includes booking, commerce or complex integrations?

Those projects are scoped separately around workflows, rules, data, integrations and operational risk. You still see working progress early, but the final delivery window follows the real complexity rather than a marketing deadline.

We can often release the highest-value journey first and phase the rest, provided that approach is safe and useful for customers and the team running it.

02.04

Do we need every word and image ready before we begin?

No. We can help shape the proposition, page structure and content priorities. Existing material, customer questions, brand assets and examples of what is working are usually enough to start the conversation.

The fastest sprint does require timely access to agreed content, systems and a decision-maker. If those inputs are still developing, we set a realistic plan rather than pretending they will not affect timing.

Questions about

Investment + scope

Clear starting points, a defined scope and no mystery around third-party costs.Explore all services
03.01

What do projects cost?

Current starting points are projects from £2,500, projects from £4,500 and projects from £7,500. The AI assistants + workflow automation offer has controlled pilots from £7,500. Search + AI visibility has foundations from £1,500, and Google Ads has setup from £1,250 · management from £500/month.

The final proposal reflects the agreed scope, integrations, content needs and delivery risk. You see what is included, what is optional and what would change the price before work begins.

03.02

What is included in a website project?

A focused website normally covers positioning and content structure, UI/UX design, responsive development, the agreed enquiry journey, performance checks, launch verification and practical handover.

Copywriting, photography, specialist integrations, licences, media spend and ongoing support are identified separately when they are needed. There should be no surprise line item hiding behind a vague package.

03.03

What happens if the scope changes?

We make the impact visible before changing course. A small clarification may fit inside the agreed work; a new workflow, integration or content requirement may change cost or timing.

The priority is to protect the result and the relationship: no silent scope drift, no unexpected invoice and no rushed feature released without the checks it needs.

Questions about

AI + automation

Bounded capability, clear authority and a person accountable for every important decision.Explore AI + automation
04.01

What can a well-bounded business AI assistant do?

A well-bounded assistant can work from approved information to answer routine questions, triage an enquiry, prepare a draft or summary, route a task and support a repeatable internal workflow. Its permissions and permitted actions are agreed before the pilot begins.

It is not a general-purpose employee or an autonomous decision-maker. ByteMotive starts with one useful workflow, a named owner and a clear definition of what the assistant must never do.

04.02

How does a person stay in control?

The pilot defines where human review is required, which exceptions must be handed over and who can pause or stop the workflow. High-impact, binding or unusual decisions stay with an accountable person.

Approval, security and recovery are included safeguards rather than optional extras. Production expansion happens only after the bounded pilot has been evaluated and the owner accepts the operating controls.

04.03

How is business or customer data handled?

We begin with clear authority to use the information, minimise what the workflow needs and agree access, permissions and retention boundaries. An approved knowledge set is versioned so the source of an answer can be traced and changed deliberately.

Sensitive or untrusted input is treated as a risk, not an instruction. Data preparation, third-party licences, model usage and complex system connections are identified separately before they enter scope.

04.04

What happens when the assistant is uncertain or something fails?

Uncertainty, invalid output or an unavailable system should stop the affected action and hand the case to a person with useful context. The workflow does not silently invent an answer or fall back to a weaker control.

Duplicate prevention, bounded retries, traceable redacted activity, immediate pause controls and a recovery route are designed and tested as part of the pilot. Synthetic evaluation is completed before any controlled release.

Questions about

Search + growth

Useful visibility, controlled advertising and measurement that respects the customer.Explore search + AI visibility
05.01

What does search and AI visibility work involve?

It connects search intent, useful page content, technical SEO, internal links, crawlability and structured information that accurately matches what people can see. Search Console and a clear measurement baseline show what to improve next.

There is no separate trick that makes an AI system choose a business. The durable work is to publish clear, credible, accessible information that answers real customer questions and is technically easy to discover and understand.

05.02

Can you guarantee Google rankings or AI citations?

No responsible provider can guarantee either. Search platforms and AI systems decide what they rank, quote or cite, and those systems change.

We can build sound foundations, strengthen relevant pages, remove technical obstacles and measure evidence over time. The promise is disciplined work and transparent learning—not an invented result.

05.03

How do Google Ads budget and management work?

You own the Google Ads account and its data, pay Google directly and approve the audience, locations, exclusions, media budget and launch. ByteMotive setup and management fees are separate, so service cost and advertising spend stay clear.

Campaigns connect targeting, advert intent, landing pages and conversion measurement. Nothing launches until the agreed budget, consent controls and measurement have been reviewed and verified.

05.04

Will you add analytics and conversion tracking?

When measurement is useful, we define the decisions it needs to support and collect only what is justified. Analytics and advertising tags are enabled only after the consent experience, privacy wording and conversion events have been approved and tested.

The shareable ByteMotive preview contains no analytics, advertising or remarketing tags. Those launch controls are part of responsible delivery, not an afterthought.

Questions about

Ownership + launch

A dependable release, clear control and a practical next step after the launch moment.Start the project conversation
06.01

Who will I work with?

You work directly with the founder making the strategic, design and technical decisions. That keeps context intact, feedback close to the work and one person accountable for moving the project forward.

Specialist support is brought in only when the scope genuinely needs it, with responsibility and cost made clear.

06.02

Will I own the website, accounts and data?

Your domain, content, operational data, search accounts and advertising accounts remain under your control. Code and design licence terms, paid services and third-party dependencies are stated in the proposal before work begins.

The handover documents the important systems and avoids unnecessary lock-in, so ownership works in practice as well as on paper.

06.03

What happens after launch?

The important journeys are verified, the release and rollback route are recorded, and you receive a practical handover. Cloudflare-first hosting is preferred when it is the simplest dependable fit, with recurring platform costs identified before launch.

Ongoing support, search improvement, campaign management and product development are available when useful. They are options with a clear purpose—not a requirement to keep control of your own site.

06.04

Can we start before I have bought a domain?

Yes. We can design, build and share a controlled preview link while the final domain, legal details and launch configuration are being prepared.

The custom domain is connected only when ownership is confirmed and the security, privacy, consent and measurement gates required for the real launch are ready.

Still have a question?
